About Post 254

Services provided by Post 254 are unlimited depending on the post’s ability to fulfill the need. Members of the Johnstown, Ohio Legion Post, voluntarily offer their services not only to area veterans, but also to area seniors, youth, and handicapped.

Annually, members of Post 254 average 8,000 hours and an estimated $12,000–$15,000 back into Johnstown, Ohio, and surrounding areas.

To learn more about Post 254, please join us Wednesday mornings from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Legion Hall for coffee and donuts. If you are unable to attend a Wednesday coffee and donut gathering, please contact us to request additional information.

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
